Not as many "what the hell?" moments as you'd expect in the first episode of a season, but it was good. One odd question I have: what's up with the new "nice" and 'sensitive" Sawyer? I do think is completely sucks that there are only 8 episodes in this season due to the strike. 8??? Episode one was good.
